Welcome to Hudson Valley MomsLikeMe.com — the place where moms in New York's Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess counties connect and chat about being a mom. (We also talk about non-mom stuff, too.) What is our site all about? It's all about you—your goals, hopes and fears; your favorite things, and of course, your family.
What can I do on MomsLikeMe.com?
Across the top of the home page, there's a pink navigational bar. Here's what you'll find in each of those categories:
- Discussions: This is where you ask questions, offer advice and swap stories with other local moms in our forums. Need a new pediatrician? Want advice on potty training? Want to chat about current events or finances? Post here!
- Groups: Are you a fan of a particular television show? Are you trying to lose weight, organize a playgroup in your neighborhood, or meet other moms of multiples? Explore our Groups section. If you don't see the group that you're looking for, form a new group and invite others to join.
- Photos: Have great photos to share? We'd love to see them! Submit your pictures, check out other members' photos—and be sure to comment on your favorites!
- Video: Watch videos of MomsLikeMe.com offline events and other clips that are of interest to moms and families.
- Coupons: A bargain hunter's paradise! Print our coupons and save big on your grocery bill. (Not Macintosh compatible, unfortunately.)
- Marketplace: Looking to buy a used stroller, or want to get rid of the one you have? This is the place to buy, sell, and trade everything—from baby gear to cars—with other moms. This is also where you can find special offers from local businesses, and learn about businesses run by local moms. Best of all, it's free to post these "classifieds."
- My Stuff: This is your own personal zone on Hudson Valley MomsLikeMe.com. Here you can create a profile that you can share with other site members; organize your calendar, favorite friends, photos and groups; and send private messages to other community members.
